Rules:
If you're new to the Chain Story pages, then you need to read the rules. Everyone is welcome to join in the story. This month's story is going to be lenient, but please still try to keep your entries brief if you can.
You may change the story around as you like this round, however sometimes problems occur such as a "fork in the story". This occurs when two people reply to the previous person's entry. It is up to the next person that posts to decide which 'fork' or direction to take the story, from the previous entries. You can post as many times you like, but please allow other persons to post in between if possible.
The object to this "game" is to simply have fun with it and try to create story lines and come up with a conclusion.. we've done these before and sometimes it's more fun trying to stop the conclusion! We try not to be serious too much and make it funny, but each of you are your own directors so you may post your entries how you like. But beware someone else usually has a different plan and the twists and turns in the stories usually leave you laughing.
Happy Posting! And Enjoy!!
Any questions you can write me at my email address in my profile, or you can comment or inquire in the tagboard on the right side of this journal.
Please do not post inquiries or comments about the chain story IN the chain story.
Thank you.
It was requested that the CHAIN STORIES start up again so here we are!! You know the rules!! Keep it simple, have fun, play nice, choose what "fork" you want to take if there are two story line choices and invite others to join in. You can make it romantic, scary, dramatic or funny/comedy. Each person is their own "director" so have fun with it!! Thanks and enjoy! xo ~h
The Beach

No one knew the history of the beach more than Sarah. Her family grew up there and she always felt strange about the waters. She believed she's seen things there, heard the songs in the mist and echoes of anger. There was a legend told that American Indians had drowned in the surfs and the shores were now cursed. It was an old legend, but it was kinda creepy to hang out there at night.
There was a barnfire started that early evening for the barbecue party Marty was going to host. Friends began to arrive and chat and hang out by the volleyball net ready to pounce across the sands. The smell of incense arose from inside the shack that sat above the dunes outlooking the waters. Sarah's heart paced...
